I haven't updated here for the longest time, which makes me a bad imaginary internet friend and I do apologise. The reason is mostly that I have been very busy with layers of busyness on top of further busyness. This is not a thing of which I am proud but it accurately describes where I am at right now. She is a real delight, although she does tend to be anxious and finding a relaxed rhythm is a lot of what we are working on these days. I think the last picture shows the way we're beginning to close the box up a little and get a touch more roundness with our movement. Meanwhile I have to spend the whole time remembering to give with my back enough to allow her to move as freely as she can. She's not got the flash of a modern dressage horse, but she has a lovely solidity in her way of going which will make for really good gaits as we develop, I think.
