That was an interesting read and a great way to get to know more of you! I really like the way you write and express things.

I saw The Lemonheads a couple years ago. They played "It's a shame about Ray" in its entirety.

I am actually quite jealous of this. I think Evan Dando has a great voice and a natural ear for a tune.

Little Earthquakes... Love that CD! I am always grateful to my dad and one of my cousins for showing me great music as a kid. It definitely shaped my tastes (of course), which means I'm not listening to the terrible pop music on the radio today.

I do have a soft spot for some terrible pop music, mind- for example I own the first album by her ladyship the dutchess of Gaga and I am less embarassed about that fact than I should be. Although to be honest it's a bit boring in between the singles.

It was only really for a while during the early to mid nineties that I noticed what was in the charts and then again for a while in the early 2000s when I was working in an office with Radio 1 ( the BBC's most tiresomely anodyne pop radio station ) so I was subjected to five songs on constant rotation for months at a stretch. For approximately 2 years I swear they played "Ms Jackson" by Outkast at least every hour. Even now I can remember every beat of it. "This one goes out to all the baby swans."

I think that's what gets me - some of the songs are catchy, it's just the repetition of them that becomes unbearable!

I spent a lot of time in a God Fodder T-Shirt. Neds had their graphics totally down.

I was surprised at first when I realised Clint Mansell formerly of PWEI wrote the Requiem For A Dream theme, then I wasn't. A lot more musical and more musically versatile than they ever got credit for, I think.
