Today I rode Iris in the Sidepull, which arrived the other evening and her new saddle pad for the first time. She actually felt like a different horse, way more elevation and movement in her back, she just felt better than she ever has. I don't think the saddle was particularly uncomfortable before, but with the shimmed pad it is clearly more

She has so much potential and she looks sharper already!

I am amazed by how much change a change of saddle pad has made- she is way more able to elevate herself now and everything feels more free.

Also the saddler said nice things about how soft she was looking, which was awesome. She is only really at the start yet, but she's going in the right direction and its nice for someone to notice that.
