With my favourite herecirm over to visit, we took Cash out this morning with me riding and her as ground support crew and expedition photographer. ( illustrated version )
Such very nice shots! He really is moving out nice and freely, just where you want him to be at this point in his training. And he looks happy and comfortable. A very good thing.
Thank you! I'm so pleased with him. He's so easy to work with because he so much wants to get things right. I'm so used to "make me" from Zorro that I am constantly having to remember to turn everything down with the little guy.
Cash looks and sounds like the sort of horse that Gregg would classify as "having discipline with a good mind." That is, he sticks to his training, he remembers it, he has a good work ethic and he wants to please. He so clearly looks like a happy, willing boy who wants to please and enjoys his work...but sensitive as well. A nice combo, as long as you don't overface him...which you won't, not your style
( ... )
I don't know that I'd be in a place to take him to any great height anyways. If I can get transport I might see if we could maybe get to a small beginners type show some time next year just to find how we get on really...
