Great video! It must be feel a bit weird and post-apocalyptic to ride along a road completely free of cars... Is it being changed into a bridleway?

Not so far as I know - different people have different rumours, but it is all national Trust stuff so it's kind of hard to be sure. They don't seem overly keen on equestrians by and large, for some reason. I'm not sure they particularly care for people in general, but riders seem to be bottom of their priorities.
