As I've certainly mentioned in the past, one of the things I find hardest about riding is going downhill. Kind of amazing how that works. My first event was at a place with a hill that people kept warning me about. How big it was, how steep, etc. By the time I actually got there, I was picturing this total Man From Snowy River affair. The real hill was actually a relief; there was no _way_ it could ever have been as terrifying as what I was imagining.
