Summary: Mr. Schue takes the club on a field trip to see a video about the Complaints Choir at the Columbus Museum of Art. Puck has a few of his own complaints and Quinn is there to help make them go away.
A/N: The Complaints Choir is a real exhibit in Columbus this fall. For more info on it you can visit www.complaintschoir.org. Also, this is my first time writing Quick so… hopefully you like it!

Where the hell Schue came up with his ideas, Puck wasn’t really sure, but he was sure this one was totally craptastic.

Don’t get him wrong, field trips were normally a good thing in his book. An entire day of school sanctioned skipping class was right up Puck’s alley. Nine times out of ten, he would get to whatever the destination was, find somewhere nearby that was actually cool and kill the day there until it was time to get back on the bus.

The problem with this trip was that it was only the glee club going. With under twenty people being there, it would stick out like a sore thumb if Puck wasn’t around. And knowing his luck, even if Schue didn’t notice he was missing, Rachel would point it out for the world to see.

The other problem with this trip was that the destination totally sucked ass. They were going to Columbus to the Museum of Art to see some stupid ass exhibit of a video of people singing their complaints. Yeah. That’s right. People bitching about their lives in harmony. If they wanted to hear that, they could just line the entire club across the choir room and pull out a flip cam.

But Schue thought it would be moving or motivating or some other motherfucking M word bullshit that Puck tuned out after hearing where the fuck he was being dragged the following Tuesday. All he knew was this was going to suck major donkey balls.

-

An hour and a half on the short bus with the club had Puck ready to kill someone. A year of membership and acceptance and feelings and all that bullshit couldn’t convince him that an hour and a half worth of a sing along during the ride was a good idea. The fuckers were so loud, he couldn’t even drown them out by blaring Metallica on his iPod.

And since God decided to hate him, they went straight from the bus to the theater where they would be watching this dumbass video of these dumbass complaints. So it just went from one group of losers singing to another group of losers singing.

There were a couple other school groups there on field trips but Puck was hating life so much, he couldn’t even find it inside himself to scope out the other high schools to see if there were any hot chicks. Instead he leaned up against the railing and closed his eyes. He was in the middle of trying to wish away this moment and land on some tropical isle when a voice interrupted his thoughts.

“This is going to be awful. Why do we have to hear other people’s complaints when we have more than enough of our own?”

He didn’t have to open his eyes to know it was Quinn. He had been on okay terms with his baby momma this year but nothing serious. She clapped for him when he made a play at football games and drove him home from the after parties when he had too much to drink. He opened her locker when it got jammed and beat up guys when they made jokes about the last few pounds of baby weight needing to come off.

“I don’t know. Because Schue hates us? Because he wants us to make our own one of these fucking things? Fuck if I know.”

“Language,” she scolded him gently before leaning against the railing next to him. “What would your complaints be?”

“That I’m stuck here watching this bullshit.”

“No, seriously.”

“Okay. That I’m stuck here watching this bullshit, that my daughter is being raised by someone else, that I couldn’t raise my own fucking daughter, that I know I couldn’t raise her but I still want her, that I’m stuck living in fucking Lima, and that I haven’t been laid in four months.”

He finally opened his eyes and looked down at Quinn next to him as she took all of those in. She didn’t say anything, just looked up at him for a minute before clasping her hands in front of her and looking down at them. Shifting her weight, she leaned her head to the side onto his arm and nodded her head a few times, “Yeah. Me too.”

The moment was getting too serious for Puck and he had to break the tension, “It’s been four months for you too? No shit.”

She laughed half heartedly and swatted at his chest, “Shut up, Puck.”

He grinned and reached up, wrapping an arm around her shoulders and pulled her tight to him.

“Oh well. Let’s go hear about how much other people’s lives suck.” He nodded toward the front of the line where the ushers were opening the doors to the theater.

Rachel rushed into the theater as fast as possible and just about took out a group of middle schoolers so that she could get to the front row and declare it reserved for the club. Puck took his time entering the auditorium and shook his head when he saw where he was expected to go, “Fuck that. I can’t handle any more of this togetherness bonding bull.” He turned into the last row of the theater which was completely empty and sat down in one of the center seats.

Quinn watched him go but decided to head down to the designated row with the rest of the group. It was only when everyone sat down and Will saw the empty seat did he realize that one student was missing. Looking around, he spotted Puck sitting in the back and stood up to go get him.

When she saw him get up, Quinn hopped up as well and placed a hand on Mr. Schuester’s shoulder, “Mr. Schue? Can you just let him stay there? I’ll go back there and sit with him to make sure he stays the entire performance. He’s having a rough day and I think making him sit with everyone else might be what actually makes him snap.”

Will looked back and even in the darkened theater he could see Puck’s angry features. With a resigning sigh, he nodded, “Okay Quinn. You can go back and sit with him. But I am counting on you to keep him here the entire time. I really think this will be a great piece for both of you to watch so no skipping.”

She smiled and gave a firm nod of her head, “Don’t worry Mr. Schue. We’ll stay the entire time, promise.” She quickly grabbed her purse from her seat and headed to the back row just as the lights were dimming for the film to start.

Puck was slumped down in his chair with his eyes closed when he felt the seat next to him shift. There were three empty rows between him and anyone else, but some asshole thought they needed to come sit right next to him? Fuck that shit. “Are you kidding me?” he muttered as he sat up, opening his eyes to see Quinn sitting next to him with a grin on her face. “What are you doing back here?” he whispered.

She kept grinning at him before giving him a small wink, “Helping you out with your complaints. Now be quiet.” Quinn’s eyes darted around and made sure it was safe. The theater was pitch black except for the movie that was just starting on the screen. All of the students and their chaperones were in the rows in front of them; no one was behind them or even near them.

That’s when she got bold and slouched down in her seat. Puck watched with his mouth agape as he watched Quinn reach under her skirt in order to hook her thumbs in the elastic of her panties and pull them down. His mouth seemed to drop open even further when she reached over and dropped the cotton onto his lap.

“What the fuck are you doing?” he hissed, eyes darting around to make sure no one else was seeing what he was seeing.

Quinn rolled her eyes before she grabbed his hand and placed it on her thigh, “Helping you get rid of one of your complaints. This is the only one I can do anything about.”

Puck’s face quickly changed from shock to the trademarked I’m about to get some smirk he had mastered over the years. He took Quinn’s underwear in his left hand and tucked it into his back pocket while his right hand pushed her skirt out of the way so that he could touch her skin on skin. “You sure?”

Quinn nodded, reaching for her purse and unzipping a side pocket. From there she pulled out a small foil packet and shook it a few times to show him just how sure he was.

That was all Puck needed. He leaned over the arm rest, kissing Quinn and moving his hand up her inner thigh to reach the promised land. His fingers started to move and thankfully his mouth was over hers to muffle the moans. But the arm rest was causing some logistical problems to say the least.

Puck pulled away, looking around before realizing there was only one way this would work. “C’mere,” he whispered gruffly, motioning for her to come join him in his seat.

“Pants down first,” she told him with another quick kiss, reaching over to unbuckle his belt and unzip his fly as quietly as she could. Thankfully the movie was loud enough that no one even flinched, much less turned around to look at them.

Once Puck’s pants and boxers were out of the way, she climbed into his lap facing away from him and with a couple of swift movements, one of Puck’s complaints was on its way to being checked off his list.

-

When the movie ended, the entire audience was clapping for the recorded performance they had just seen. Except for Will, who quickly hopped up from his seat to look to the back of the theater. Sure enough, there was Puck with Quinn, still in the same seats from before.

Quinn was back in her seat next to Puck, grinning as she watched the credits roll. Her head was on Puck’s shoulder and she was rubbing her hand up and down his thigh which had been recovered with denim. “So. Any complaints now?”

Puck chuckled before he shook his head no, “Not a damn one I can think of right now. You?”

“Yeah. Can I have my underwear back?”

“Not a chance in hell baby.”
