When he'd gotten Blaine's text message, Puck's first response, despite being told not to, was to worry. He'd made his beer selection quickly, and rushed home. Beer now in the fridge, he went straight to Kurt and Blaine's door, knocking and crossing his arms over his chest as he waited.

At Blaine's response, Puck opened the door, walking in and sitting on the edge of the bed, meeting Blaine's gaze. "Dude, what's up?" he asked, trying to hide his concern and play it totally cool.

Blaine had just shoved the last of his sandwich into his mouth and it was stuffed into his cheek as he tried to chew it quickly. He only realised how starving he was when Kurt told him to eat. He got so caught up in the studying, he literally forgot about meals and Kurt was riding him so hard on it, and that wasn't even a good sort of riding. "Mmfhntshmash..." was the response and then he waved his hand for a minute, getting Puck to wait while he finished his sandwich and took another drink from the Coke.

He swivelled around in the chair shoved his glasses up onto his head. "I wanted to ask you something. It's important. And I know it's probably too soon and all that, but I thought it's best to get it out now, you know? When Kurt and I manage to set a date, will you be my Best Man?"

Puck tried to hide his smirk at the sight of his bro with a huge bite of sandwich smushed into his cheek like a chipmunk. "That's a good look for you, B," he said, leaning back on the bed and propping himself up on his elbows as he waited.

Blaine's question couldn't have made Puck feel any more honored. No one had ever asked him anything like that before, and knowing how much he meant to Blaine? That his friend wanted him as a best man? That thrilled him. Granted, it meant wearing a tux, probably (and possibly a kilt, according to Quinn), but he'd do pretty much anything for Blaine. With a broad grin, Puck nodded. "Hell, yeah, dude. That... I'd love to do that."

Blaine flipped Puck off at this, but smirked at him. "I keep forgetting to eat, but Kurt told me he doesn't want to hug a skeleton, and he might well actually kill me if I don't. We were supposed to have dinner tonight, but he got held up, so yeah, peanut butter of awesome."

"Are you sure?" he asked a little hesitantly. "I mean, I don't want you to feel obligated or anything. You can say no. And like I said, we haven't set a date, and we're debating even whether to wait until after college. It shouldn't be too much work. Well, it could be, knowing Kurt, but I just wanted to ask because you're my best mate and you've been there for me through some really tough shit, and this will me my wedding day, and ohyfuckingod, I'm getting married! Kurt wants to marry me! He actually does. And we live together, and it's just so amazing!" he cried, waving his hand and then stopping to look at his engagement ring for about the fifty thousandth time since he got it, a goofy grin on his face.
