So, I don't have an iPhone/iTouch, BUT I PLAY WITH MY FRIENDS' IPHONES ALL THE TIME.
There is this one BIZARRE app where there is a monkey who you have to make pee in a toilet (you control the trajectory by tilting the phone) and if he pees all over the floor and it hits the electrical socket, YOU GET ELECTROCUTED AND LOSE.
I have a G1, but it's a touch screen so I figured it's applicable. My favorite Android apps are BudgetDroid (basically does what it says, it's an app to help with budgeting your finances month to month) and Twidroid (Twitter app) are my favorite ~productive apps~. Abduction! (it's a strangely addicting game good for passing time), and Phit Droid and Torect Lite are puzzle games that are similar (they give you different shaped pieces and you have to put them together to form a specified shape). And as for media apps, SnapPhoto takes some pretty good pictures (I haven't used the updated versions of the default (still) camera, but the quality was way better than the first one) and Ringdroid does a pretty good job of editing songs to make into ringtones. I don't miss paying $2.50 for sideckick ringtones.
Haven't really come across many weird apps because I tend to screen/avoid those but I'll ask my friends.
Well, if I'd read them, I'd have offered my help. I have no intermodal expressive artistic skills, though, so sadly it looks like you'll be on your own. :(
