I like the idea of the spinoff, but it sounds like there is a severe lack of communication going on here. Also, if they do decide to do a spin-off (I read Murphy said he'd rethink in April) then they need to take Blaine with them.

I really don't understand the point of a spinoff and i think it would be as successful as the show will be after the regulars leave..it's not like all the fans from glee will watch a spinoff.

Uh... huh.

This just rubs me the wrong way. By canning any spin-off ideas, it feels like Murphy is punishing the actors. So what he didn't like their comments. There was some misunderstanding somewhere. That happens. To completley ditch the idea because of said comments? That just seems like yet another one of his tantrums.

Personally, I could care less about a spin-off. With the way things are going, I barely have any interest in the show as it is. They ought to focus on fixing what they've screwed up first.

God, RM - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_lFAVLWJhpY

None of them ever said they were fired. Lea and Cory were mum on the subject because they could be. Chris was bombarded that next day with Emmy news (awesome timing) and all he said was that he found out that the news was broken that he was graduating that year from twitter. No mention of firing whatsoever.

I don't think the management is to blame either. The media sensationalized and spun it and now Ryan is just acting like a brat. -_-

So a spinoff was planned, but when the actors got the wrong end of the stick, or whatever, RM decided to cancel the entire spinoff?

That's either not true, or a massive overreaction to something I'm sure could have been smoothed over.
