Well, most of the bets were on either Becky or Jean, but I'm pretty sure Jane would have been part of those scenes if that was the case, therefore she would know about it. (Of course, she might be lying.)
In the clips we've seen of the kids in NY, they all seem so happy. I kinda doubt any of them would be happily dancing in the streets of NY after losing, say, a parent the week before. Mike O'Malley's contract supposedly guarantees he'll be in at least six episodes in season 3. Romy Rosemont was photographed with the cast in NY.
Who's left? Whose death could cause an impact on several characters, but not to the point of crippling sadness? Figgins? Beiste? Brad the piano-playing furniture?
