Chord's birthday in Vegas

Seems that the Glee cast likes to celebrate their birthday in Las Vegas (hey, appearance fees are awesome). If you are in Las Vegas on Saturday, February 19th, Chord Overstreet will be celebrating his birthday at Tao night club. On the Tao website, if you go to the events section and Chord's listing, it looks like you can add yourself to the guest

What is with these people and hosting their birthday parties in Vegas? What's the point? Do they get money for having official birthday parties at nightclubs or something?

the clubs pay them big money to do the party at the club

Besides the money, they also get hotel and free plane tickets (and depending on how big they are - private planes) for themselves and their friends. Who knows, as incentive for some of the Glee to show up, they may get an appearance fee as well.
