For me, I would not only need 2 dozen people, they would need 2 weeks to make me look half way decent!
I have a feeling that she didn't pay one penny. In fact, she probably made money on it. Often, the actress (at least those that are known)are paid to wear a particular designer clothing on the red carpet. And since it is being featured on the InStyle website, she would have gotten paid for that as well.
The stylist gets publicity for this which is great. However, the stylist - Mark Townsend is the celebrity hairstylist with Dove. Because of Lea's involvement with Dove, she is either getting paid or this is part of her contract with them.
So long story short - Lea is most making money off this! And looks great too.
interesting I figured the more popular and the more press she gets the better off on these things. Just didn't think of all the Dove tie in and such. By now I would think Oscar would just be sending her just about anything she wants.
It's amazing how the more popular you are the more free stuff you get and the more money that is thrown at you.
Like Naya's birthday party -in one interview she said that she and the cast decided to make going there on her birthday an annual thing. Except, she got an appearance fee (as did probably those that showed up), as well as free airfare and hotel for her and her friends.
And Lea - I can only imagine what the various designers would do or offer up to have her wear their clothing!
