I'm not sure I trust what Kristen has to say on this matter. I mean how does she know what actually happened? It's just as likely that Dijon himself decided to leave. I wanna know where she got her source for that little tidbit before making any judgements on RIB, the producers etc
I'm a little disappointed to find out that they got rid of the Matt and Ken characters so easily like that. I had been wondering how they would try to keep the show going since the kids are already in their third year of high school and if each season is a school year by the fourth season (if there is a fourth season) all the kids would have graduated.
My guess is they'll just replace the kids and keep going. I think though I would prefer the show to concentrate on the characters we have and end with their story. Of course, the show is more about the McKinley High Glee Club so it makes sense for them to just focus on the evolution of the club.
In regards to the Sam/Kurt/Quinn dilemma...
I'm still hoping that Sam will end up with Kurt thanks to Quinn helping him along after she discovers that Sam likes Kurt. It would give the writers plenty of material to work with for character growth for all three.

I really don't want to see this become another Degrassi, but it might turn out that way... Schue & Sue would still be around for the LOLs, and maybe some cameos by Brittany who forgets she's in college now or something, lol... Meh, it could work I guess.
I'd love for them to finish the stories of these characters, too - I kind of hate the idea of a rotating cast every three or so years. That's far too long to get attached to characters before pulling in new ones.
The only thing is, now I think about it - we pretty much know Rachel has to end up on Broadway. If we had to watch her flipping burgers forever more, it would be funny for maybe one episode and then just become depressing. Yet if we see her, and others, succeed - well, they're not the underdogs anymore, are they? And watching a group of twenty-somethings live successful (and probably significantly less musical) lives or college lives just wouldn't be the same show. Maybe they'll split the years between seasons or something, have two seasons to a year to spread it out? I don't know. But then they surely can't keep doing win Regionals, lose Nationals every year either - the formula is going to get old.
not surprising really. on some sites no one really wants Kurt to have a love interest, and if he does they don't want their relationship to be prominent. :\ And some fans really want Quinn to be with a good guy (that's not Puck)
me, I think after what Quinn's gone through she doesn't need a guy. Let her be happy and independent and Kurt should get a LI like all the other characters (save for mercedes but RIB just need to give her storylines in general)

Um....WHAT?
How can they ever make that call when they didn't take the chance to explore his character? I think there's more to this that they aren't saying.
