Maybe Sue makes them wear them because they are in the heading for Head Cheerleader. They're probably just used to wearing them all the time. Brittany probably doesn't own anything else.

Kurt wasn't wearing his the whole time this week either. I've been wondering that too, it's weird. I remember assuming that Mercedes quit the team when Amber wasn't in her uniform, but maybe not.
