Brittany's favorite part of going back to school, aside from getting to see her friends and especially all the creatures, was the trolley full of candy on the train. Santana had given her free reign to get what she wanted and Brittany had taken full advantage of that offer. She'd gotten some Cauldron Cakes, Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans, Drooble's Best Blowing Gum and some ice cold Pumpkin Juice. She refused to get any of the Chocolate Frogs and in fact, wanted to figure out a way for them to stop being so mean to the frogs by dipping them in hot chocolate and letting people eat them. It was really mean

"Sure." Santana dipped her free hand into the bag of beans and popped the first one into her mouth. After a moment of chewing, she made a face, forcing herself to swallow. "Sulfur," she muttered. Why this was a flavor was still beyond her. Were they trying to poision people or something? This was why she wasn't too fond of Beans.

Bored, she decided some entertainment was in order, and with a quick flick of her wand, she set off a small show of silent fireworks. They were there in all their colorful glory without the obnoxiously loud explosions. "Excited to finally be a sixth year, babe?" Santana asked. She knew how hard Brittany had worked to get past her fifth year the second time around. She'd studied so hard and had actually shown up for her O.W.L.s this time, passing with mostly As and even an E or two.

Brittany made another disgusted face when Santana revealed the flavor she'd gotten. Better than ear wax though, it just had a really salty taste and even though it was gross, Brittany kind of liked it.

Digging into the bag, Brittany ate another one, chewing thoughtfully as she watched the fireworks Santana was setting off with her wand. She was really good at magic and Brittany barely comprehended most of it. Staring at the small, quiet explosions, Brittany continued to eat her Bertie Bott's. Then Santana's words shook her out of her trance and she refocused on her girlfriend. "Totally. I was scared they were going to like, kick me out or something. Those tests were super hard, but at least I passed." She grinned brightly, laying her candy to the side. "Now I just have to pass those other tests. Will you help me study?" Brittany asked, moving over to sit with her girlfriend, but electing to sit on her lap instead.

Santana pretended to think about it, tilting her head to the side. "I don't know, B. What do I get out of it?" She was teasing, because Brittany knew Santana would do absolutely anything for her. She wrapped her arms around the blonde's waist and held her close.
