This is wonderful.

The characterization is so tight and the development is subtle, which reinforces how organic a friendship/relationship between Rachel and Mercedes could be. This feels so real and the pacing is great.

I really liked the hopeful ending.

Oh. This fic was exactly what I've always wanted to see for an R/M courtship - the slow burn of Mercedes's realization, Rachel being eager and perfectly Rachel, and that hug/almost kiss in the car, which was pretty much the most adorable thing I've read in a long time. You captured that new-crush feeling so, so well.

This fic is all kinds of adorably awesome. I've always found Mercedes to be the least shippable with the other girls, but this was done perfectly. The segway from friendship to more is exactly what I want for every glee relationship.

Also, Santana and Mercedes advice sesssion - hilarious. And I loved the kicking a puppy line because that really what it is like to crush poor little happy Rachel. Well done.

I ship Mercedes with like, everyone. Girl deserves some love. And I feel the same about the transition thing.

Ooh I just really enjoyed this. I, like others, have had problems shipping Mercedes with anyone because no one seems to match her. This was delightful, however. And you managed to convince me for the entirety that they would be cute together.

Very on character and I loved the mentions of other people from the show, especially the Santana portion. That was just perfect, how it took Mercedes a second to gather her bearings and then she tried to call Santana on it too.

Wonderful.
