Prompt: Darren/Chris - friends-to-soulmates RPF AU

In this AU, only your soulmate's first name appears on your body, and it can be a nickname. Chris has always known he's gay, even before the name "Darren" appeared on his body. Darren is a total queer ally but has always identified as straight, so when the name "Chris" appeared on his body, he assumed it to be short for Christina or Christiana or something else like that. Even when he meets Chris Colfer, it doesn't occur to Darren right away that he could've been wrong (or at least unaware) for so long and this Chris could have been the right one all along . . . but he does figure it out

Thank you! Your prompt was a real gift, and filling it is a lot of fun. I've read (and loved) a lot of the soulmate fics, but your prompt was the first one that made me want to write one of my own. :)

Thank you. Although I've posted a couple prompts, this is the first of mine to get filled. I'm so glad you were inspired and are enjoying writing the fill; that's really nice to know. The fill is a joy to read.

His legs spread as one hand cupped his left pec and the other gripped himself between his legs, dancing over the smooth flat of his crotch. "I'm taking matters into my own hands," he sang, voice heavy with emotion and in stark contrast to the detached expression on his face as his body began to shake with an artificial climax. As his body shook harder, his voice took on a more desperate tone, crying out loudly and unrestrained as tears began to pool beneath the iridescent white glitter coating his eyes.

I love your fill. I don't normally do RPF, but there is just something about this world you are building. It's raw and intriguing. I'm totally hooked.

I'm so envious of your skills with pacing and dialogue, author-anon. It all flows so well, and we're getting to learn so much about the characters, their personalities, and pieces of their histories without it feeling at all like an info-dump.

Thanks! Dialogue is super fun to write, but pacing is torture because I keep wanting to skip ahead. ;)
