Puck/Finn Pushed to the Side Spoilers for 2x12

Finn has been absent from school for a while because of mono.

Puck comes into Glee one day with a nasty gash on the side of his face. Everyone just assumes that he got into a fight. Mr. Schuester even pulls him aside to remind him that he can't get into any trouble or he'd go back to juvie.

Days later when Finn returns to school, he is the only one to pull Puck aside and ask if Sarah is alright because he knows that Puck didn't get into a fight with anyone, just the wrong end of a beer bottle.
Finn's the only one that knows Puck's mom is an abusive alcoholic.

Prompted because I miss their friendship.

i'm sorry! i keep forgetting i have it. i only ever got a few pages in on paper and then forgot. if i finish it, i promise to post it.

i just reread what i have written saturday, and it's actually pretty close to finished. hopefully if i make myself type it up i'll recapture the flow and can get it done (but don't expect it until this weekend because i have to finish the next chapter of trans!kurt by wednesday).~
