Season Two Spoilers, Karofsky, Kurt, Dalton anonymous March 13 2011, 06:04:19 UTC
David Karofsky transfers to Dalton Academy. Unfortunately for Kurt, transferring out isn't really an option, considering that his parents had paid the non-refundable tuition only the week before. What's worse, Karofsky has become very buddy-buddy with the Warblers, who think he's a great guy. He's closest with the Warbler Council, and treats Kurt like an old friend when he's around them. When they're alone, however, it's a different story. It's kind of difficult when you're already considered an attention-seeker in a group to suddenly accuse the seemingly genuinely kind new kid of making your life a living hell.

I really, really like this prompt but I do have one small question. How do you propose Blaine ignores the transfer of Karofsky? He saw him when both he and Kurt confronted him at McKinley and presumably is aware of all the abuse Kurt underwent at Karofsky's hands.
Just curious.

I think with him, Karofsky would take him aside and make a "genuinely" remorseful apology. He'd ask for redemption, and for forgiveness, as well as the chance to make up for the person he'd become. As long as Karofsky maintained that facade, I think Blaine would be supportive of his transition from bully to decent person, and encourage Kurt to do the same.

Oh. That's actually a really good reason. Thanks.
I may try to fill this, but I'm not a very good writer, so please don't get your hopes up.

Not sure if this is what you wanted OP, but I went with it.When David Karofsky transfers to Dalton Academy the first thing Kurt Hummel wants to do is run for the hills. At Dalton he’s supposed to be safe. At Dalton he isn’t supposed to be bullied. The first week goes by without much heartache. Karofsky spends most of his time making friends with some of the Warblers. The first time Karofsky shoves Kurt into something is a Tuesday and he’s pushed into a side table in one of the ‘short cut’ hallways Blaine showed him ( ... )

When they’re alone, which is more often then not Kurt is shoved and thrown into things. And Kurt would be okay with that if he could tell someone. He realizes during a meeting that when he sang a song the Council didn’t approve of Blaine asked him to tone it down. The Council considered him somewhat of an attention whore for lack of better words. And how exactly do you tell them that the new kid, who has been nice to all of them and nice to Kurt in front of them that Karofsky is up to his old tricks ( ... )

Kurt takes to wearing cover up on the bruises that his uniform can’t cover. Like the finger shaped bruises on his neck. He gives himself props because the bruises don’t look there at all ( ... )

Blaine calls Burt who is furious with both Kurt, who should have told someone when Karofsky had first transferred. Blaine because the older boy should never have trusted Karofsky. To the Dean who Burt had told the entire situation, including names, to ( ... )

OUCH D:

Wonderful job anon, I loved the sparse/disconnected way you wrote Kurt's POV, especially in the last section.

(So this prompt just wouldn’t leave me alone and kept me up all night. I'm not even anon-ing for this thing. I know there’s already a fantastic a fill, but everyone loves second fills, right? Right? Also, spoilers for 2.16. This takes place after that episode.)

Something stops Kurt as he’s walking into the cafeteria. He’s just about to step inside when suddenly there’s just something wrongBlaine’s right behind him and bumps into him, nearly tripping. “Warn a guy,” he mumbles, keeping a hand on Kurt’s shoulder as he steadies himself. “What are you doing ( ... )

By the time English is over and Kurt’s gotten halfway through math-he has to really concentrate in math, or he gets even more lost than he normally is-he’s pretty much convinced himself that he was imagining things. Karofsky wasn’t at lunch today, wearing a Dalton uniform and joking with people. That didn’t happen. The entire thing sounds ridiculous. He came to Dalton to get away from Karofsky. Dalton is Kurt’s safe place. Karofsky can’t be here; he just can’t. Kurt was seeing things at lunch. It was probably because he’d skipped breakfast in favor of spending more time on his hair ( ... )
