So, I know this has already been filled with an AMAZING story, but I havn’t been able to get it out of my head, so I thought I’d give it a go as well. Obviously, the opening will be a bit similar to the rec'd fic above, because of the nature of the prompts, but I'll try to take it in a different direction after that.

Also, this is the first fanfic I've ever written, and the first piece of creative writing I've attempted since school almost a decade ago, so please don't expect much.

OP - do you mind too much if I don't stick exactly to the prompt. I'd quite like there to be a decent period of Blaine/Burt bonding before Kurt shows up, so I'm going to have him be away for a week or 2. Hope that's ok.
