Transphobic!Blaine

Kurt is FTM. He's either pre-everything or has just started T. The reason he's so terrified of sex and being sexy is because of his body and the dysphoria that comes with it. Coming out is always hard, but Blaine would be accepting, right? The sweet, caring, open-minded person that is always gentle and wonderful would be able to love him regardless, right...?
One day Blaine accidentally finds out during a make out session. Blaine may be gay, but he's terribly transphobic. Not only is he disgusted, he tells all the guys at Dalton. One day when Kurt is trying to use the mens room some of the guys corner him and beat him up. Blaine can either not be there or be watching. No Klaine happy ending.

oh my goodness, this is fantastic. i really love this idea, as sick as that might make me.
obviously, this is angstful with kurt being found out and blaine rejecting him, but what are you looking for in the hurt/comfort aspect? because i can't possibly do this without kurt getting some love.
of course we have to see some hudmel reactions (i can easily see finn finding out accidentally and being confused/weirded out) and possibly some ND kids finding out.
uh, basically my real question here is about potential boys to step up and love kurt the way he is or if you'd rather that not be an aspect focused on at all.
if you've read most of my stuff, i tend to get epic!length and involved so, if i were to go the romance route, it wouldn't happen right away. yeah. that's all from me.~

First of all; Thanks a lot for considering this!
As for some of the boys stepping up and loving Kurt: Go right ahead. I don't mind a happy ending as long as it's not Klaine and Kurt definitely deserves some loving. In fact I'd prefer the ending to be a bit hopeful, at the very least. As for the Hudmels; whatever the writer wants is okay. I want them to be ultimately accepting, though, even if they don't really understand. If that makes sense?
Again, thanks a lot for considering. I love all your stuff. ♥

let it be said that i giggled like a school girl when i read the last sentence. for some reason it just tickles me pink (does anyone really know what that means?) to see people like my stuff.
anyway, you're welcome! i wrote between half to most of the first chapter (depending on where i break the chapter) last night. i'm hoping to have it up today, but you can really never tell when i make these sort of promises.
and of course kurt's family will be supportive if confused (some of ND might be bitchy at first but they'll get over it). and obviously if you've read my stuff you know who i want to have pour his love on kurt.~
Re: Transphobic!Blainemrs_sakumaApril 26 2011, 00:33:38 UTC
shit! okay, question time.
i had the beating scene planned out, but just realized you said blaine could be absent or observing. would it be alright for blaine to be involved/ring leading? he really is just being a transphobic douche, but in my mind he's there, committing a hate crime.
also, how would you feel about rape? obviously it's a terrible thing, but and i can leave it out, but you may have also noticed the recurring theme of children in my other works.
if you're opposed to that aspect, i will do without.~

Well, it's ultimately up to you, but I don't really see Blaine starting it. Like, I could see him joining in and taking over, but I'd prefer it if the other boys started it. But, hey, if you think it will be better with Blaine leading from the start, then I don't really mind.
As for having rape whatever you want is fine. I just want it to be a hate crime and if you want to bring sexual abuse into that: Go for it. It's certainly not unlikely to happen to a trans guy. I wouldn't mind Kurt getting pregnant, but I'd really prefer he got an abortion/miscarried in that case. I don't really want the focus to be on the child, so...

okay, here's another question.
this is obviously going to eventually be puckurt, because that's just my ship. however, i'm wondering about sarah, puck's sister. for some reason, when i was planning out puck finding out about kurt being trans, he told kurt that his sister was MtF.
does that sound like too much or convenient or anything? i'm kind of tempted to use it, because that would give them each someone similar to look too, but if you don't want her to be, i won't.~
[FILL] Tell Me I'm Not a Lie 1a/?mrs_sakumaApril 25 2011, 23:31:35 UTC
Regionals had gone great. They hadn’t won, but as much as that stung, Blaine was right. They had gotten something so much better: each other. Kurt smiled as he finished his morning facial. This was going to be a good day. It was his and Blaine’s second week of school as boyfriends. It was exciting and still made him grin to think of, even while he still worried about things. Was Blaine going to hold his hand at lunch? Would they kiss in front of the Warblers during practice that afternoon? Were the teachers going to catch on and get angry

So, strangely enough, of everyone in Glee, it was Finn and Puck that he was most often and consistently in contact with. Since they had patched up their friendship in the past few months, Puck was spending a lot of weekends in the Hummel-Hudson household. The three of them would spend time together sometimes, Kurt helping them with homework or playing video games. It was a new, different kind of relationship than he had ever had

Blaine’s eyebrows knit together as he unbuttoned Kurt’s dress shirt, exposing the binder, now looser and not hiding his B-cups at all. “What?” “Blaine, I-I can explain!” Kurt found himself begging for Blaine to listen. Before he could say anything else, his boyfriend’s knee was firmly pressed between his legs, which also sparked arousal despite how much Kurt hated that part of himself. “You’re a girl?” he nearly shouted. Thankfully they were in a dorm hall and classes were in session. “How-why would you lie to me?” “I didn’t! Blaine, I’m-” “Yes you did! You’re a girl but you told me you were a boy. That’s called a lie!” Irritated that Blaine wouldn’t let him explain, Kurt spat out, “First of all, I never told you anything, you just assumed! Second of all, I am a boy!” Quieting his voice, Kurt went on. “I’m transgender, Blaine. I am a boy, but I have the wrong body. You know what that is, right?” Blaine stared at him. Then something Kurt could only describe as a sneer spread across his face. “Yes, I know what that is. I

sonuvabitch. i thought i html'd that right. oh well.
hope that this is a satisfactory first chapter. hopefully more to come, as well as a side story from finn's pov of chapter three (in which kurt gets rescued after the beating to come).~

This was a wonderful start. I'm definitely interested in alternate character interpretations and this is wonderful. I could see something like finding out someone is trans changing even the most outwardly positive relationship. Good job!

glad you liked it! the second chapter is up on my journal, and i'll be posting links in the thread as i post more.
you have a brilliant point about things changing in relation to kurt coming out. i'm not sure yet how the New Directions kids will react yet, but i've got finn's pretty well figured.~
