That is a fantastic gift. Speaking as someone who has been the guest of honor at a bridal shower in the past, I appreciated more the gifts that were "the complete package" so to speak. You can only register for so much.

I understand completely. Peoplem start to look at you weird if you start to register for laundry detergent and dish soap.

When we got married we had a family friend who did Amway. She gave us a great big basket full of cleaning supplies. It first I thought it was odd and was more wowed by the fancier presents. Then when we ran out of laundry soap and didn't have much extra money, I was really pleased to have that stuff there.
