well, i know that some of you are jewish, and as such are naturally supporting israel in the whole conflict out there, but i don't really see either side as being 100% right [how hippy of me], so i think that this is fucking tight. don't get me wrong--i hope that israel gets the red cross jugg, too, but i'm just really happy to see that the world ( Read more... )

another dimension i failed to mention, is that 9/11 provided an unique and powerful opportunity to galvanize an energy independence movement in the U.S. i.e., "let's make a goal of freeing ourselves from dependence on oil, so we're no longer giving money to terrorist-supporting states!" thomas friedman of the new york times repeatedly mentions this huge missed opportunity. instead of a patriot act, there could've been a patriot tax, on gasoline, funneled directly into research and development towards energy independent technologies and solutions. our leaders are, unfortunately, far less brilliant and inspired than our newspaper journalists.

hey, long time no talk. i was listening to one of your cd's that you made me before I left, I dunno which one it was...but my housemate really liked the song that wasnt quite a song. it was mostly a guy talking, he always said, 'that boy needs therapy' and in the beginning of the song, he says' youre crazy like a coconut, what does that mean?' with wierd sounds in the background.

is any of this making sense? i dont know if you have the playlist still, but its on the same CD with Gwen Stephani's what are you waiting for. if you remember what its called and who its by id love to know.

hope all is well. congrats on finding a place to live in sc. im still loving it here, everyday is an adventure.

hugs
