I've been sick for some time now. Noticeably so for at least several weeks, I caught some kind of flu which due to a comedy of misfortunes (like the car window getting stuck halfway down in the hospital parking lot) progressed into pneumonia. But that then progressed into something else, and I was so sick I honestly thought I was going to die

i know how that is, was sick but didn't know how sick i was until i went into the ER and found out i was running a fever of almost 104. As long as you have the meds to get better and the time and friends to recoup and recover, things will get better and you should be able to rebuild things for yourself

I've been close to 104 on and off for over 2 weeks now. 103.4 when I woke up today, came down as low as 97.6, then back to 102.3, then down to 100.1.

The problem is I don't have the time and friends to recoup and recover. I've burned all my sick, holiday, and personal leave at work, and I don't have any friends in the local area since I haven't gotten out much since I moved, and now I've driven away one of the only people who cares enough about me to be there for me.
