Oh, my friend, how I understand you! I am fully on your side, but my case in this sense is worse, since I cannot find common ground even with my brother, his wife and my mother. Brainwashing on TV is extraordinary. I also lost a lot of friends lately on this subject. Fortunately the truth will emerge and I think pretty soon.
We are leaving Toronto in 3 weeks and planning to arrive to Van by morning Oct 30 to have 2 days for finding suitable 2br. apartment.
We have to get together for berries, mushrooms, friendly tea, talking.
See you soon!

My parents and other relatives are in Ukraine and I have no such problems fortunately. Please, keep me informed about your relocation and we will find time for talking and thoughts sharing :)

Thank you for your comments and particularly for the advice to use Past Perfects not so often :) Speaking about self-preservation I can say that your attitude to this is obvious: you really preserve your posts for the future consumption by vinegar and salt corking jar with the password :) I believe you plan to open these jars and use their content for laying the festive table on special occasion.

Thanks for the opener and explanations. I hope that it's impossible to switch off internet completely and there will be a possibility to write and read private webblogs. I checked what's wrong with two PPs in the post. Of course you are right and my sentences are not perfect from grammar viewpoint. Frankly speaking I am not watching grammar much speaking and/or writing, tongue and fingers do it automatically. It this particular two cases I tried to describe what happened in the past before another past, but another past wasn't indicated clearly. Unfortunately I am techie guy and all these philological details are somewhere on the background for me.
