Dude, I just linked here from Roque too. This is gorgeous. I am a big fan of the Dean-Bobby bond and you depict Bobby's sheer care for Dean really beautifully without making it sickly sweet. The moment when he tries to place his hand on Bobby's cheek really hit me in my heart - and does he just go for the shoulder because he just can't make that gesture, or because he's too weak to raise his hand up? And this:

'This close, Bobby smells like sweat and gunpowder and engine grease. He smells like every man that Dean’s ever looked up to.'

This is just special. Looking forward to reading on to find out WTF is going o with Sam...
