Apparently, it's national Pi Day. 3/14. I don't know when this happened, or even if it's official. It's not on the calendar, so I think it's just one of those days for aficionados. Much like 4/20. I have had a little bit of an affinity for cast iron as long as I can remember. I associate this with my mother. When I look back on my childhood, it seems that she cooked with Cast Iron pans, though when I think really hard, what I can remember for certain is a set of Wagner Ware hanging on the wall.
