And there are plenty of Home Depots there too. The packaging is blue and white and says "Pumie Scouring Stick". Tell your aunt she'll need some robust gloves too. can't blame you for not wanting to go - it sounds like an absolute nightmare every time you mention it D:
Ugh, hard water is a terrible, horrible thing (I had it at my last apartment) so YAY for conquering it!
BTW (if you're not already using it), that shower spray stuff they make - you spray down the shower, tub, tile, etc. after every time you use it - really helps keep the hard-water buildup at bay. At least in the shower. ;P I like the Method brand 'cause it smells awesome and non-chemical-y. XD
I've never dealt with it before I had this house - as you can tell, for me the learning curve has been absurd... O_o
I've tried the Method one! It does work but I found I can prevent buildup just as well, it seems, by wiping down the shower with a (blessedly free) towel every time! XD Everything Method makes is just so lovely, every once in a while I splurge on their lavender hand soap! <3
