I don't want to delete comments, so make sure that you read carefully. There are three different ways to participate in this ficathon. You can:
Post a prompt!
Your prompt MUST include one or more characters from Series 5 (the currently airing season) of Doctor Who. This includes the Eleventh Doctor, Amy (or Amelia) Pond, Rory, River Song, or minor characters from any aired episodes, like Nasreen from The Hungry Earth or Liz 10 from The Beast Below.
Your prompt may be general (non-romantic in nature) and focused on just one character, general (non-romantic in nature) and focused on two or more characters or their friendship(s), or contain any shipping combination (Doctor/Amy, Amy/River, Amy/Rory, etc) that strikes your fancy. To make this clear, your prompt should be formatted as follows:
for gen- CHARACTER OF INTEREST, PLACE/COLOR/QUOTE/SONG LYRIC/EVOCATIVE PHRASE
for gen with multiple characters- CHARACTER OF INTEREST + CHARACTER OF INTEREST, PLACE/COLOR/QUOTE/SONG LYRIC/EVOCATIVE PHRASE
for a romantic fic- CHARACTER OF INTEREST/CHARACTER OF INTEREST, PLACE/COLOR/QUOTE/SONG LYRIC/EVOCATIVE PHRASE (threesomes are also allowed, eh, why not)

Amy Pond + Rory, a palace in Egypt
Amy Pond/Eleventh Doctor, I took the stars from our eyes, and then I made a map
And knew that somehow I could find my way back
Then I heard your heart beating, you were in the darkness too

Your prompt may include any word (colors, objects, places, whatever) or phrase or quote or lyric that interests you. Keep it to one prompt per comment, please. You may post as many prompts as you can come up with, just keep each to its own separate comment.
Your prompt may include a character that is not from this season of Doctor Who. Crossovers from other fandoms are also allowed. The only limitation is that your prompt still MUST involve a Series 5 character. So, you may request a Rose/Amy fic or a Rory + Mickey fic but NOT a Rose/Ten fic or a fic that is just about Donna. While I don't want to limit creativity, the point of this is to celebrate Series 5!
Post a fic!
You may comment with a fic generated by any of the prompts that have been left to this post. Because the character limit of comments is 4300, you may also link to a longer fic in a comment. However, the fic must be new and you must have written it specifically for this ficathon. Do not link or repost old fic, please!
You may post with fic as a response to your own prompt.
You may post with fic as a response to a prompt that has already generated fic. The more, the merrier.
You may interpret the given prompt however you like, but always with the intention of satisfying your reader. ;)
All ratings from G to M (mature) are allowed. Please title and label your fic with the appropriate rating in the comment subject line at the top.
Your fic should be a reply to the comment with the prompt you are responding to, and not a separate thread. Just to keep things simple and easy.

- No finale spoilers are permitted! This should be a spoiler-safe space. You may allude to ANY events from episodes aired BEFORE the 19th of June in the UK, but keep out spoilers from either two parts of the finale. This rule is in effect through the duration of the ficathon. Even after Episode 12 airs in the UK, no one should be immediately spoiling anyone in fiction or prompts in this post.
- If it is not already perfectly clear, this ficathon is for people who like or appreciate this series of Doctor Who.
- You shouldn't be posting anything that is not a prompt, fanfiction, or feedback.
- Any additonal questions you have can be directed at me personally via PM.
