That's how I felt about gardening all day Sunday, only instead of burns it was allergens getting into the miniscule lacerations. *grumble*

Also, why does LJ not know the word "miniscule"?

Ouch, that sounds yucky too. Did you put lots of antibiotic stuff on when you were done with the gardening?
And my dictionary tells me that it's "minuscule," although the prefix "mini" seemed more likely, given it's meaning. Apparently that word comes from Latin for "small letters", as in lower case letters. And upper case letters are "majuscule!" Like major and minor!

Oh duh, that's right! Weird that Google didn't correct me when I asked it.

It was a ton of very shallow cuts/scrapes, the kind you'd never notice unless they turned into little welts, so I went with a shower followed by an Aloe and Vitamin E lotion. Even if it didn't help with the healing, they stopped stinging shortly after application. The body fixed up the rest while I slept. Aloe is so amazing. Maybe I should plant one in the garden. It helps immensely with burns, in case you're unaware, though I think it's better for sunburns than stoveburns.

I have a friend-of-a-friend who's a cook, and he uses super glue on his cuts. Maybe ask around and see if anyone else has heard of this?

Ever consider gloves? There are all sorts of different types to try. I just picked some up mostly to save my skin during prep and cleanup.
