A lot of the coloring comes from tutorials and PSD's found on icon_tutorial and psd_tuts. I can safely say that I find myself turning off things in almost all of them, or changing them around. I think the only way to get coloring done is to experiment with EVERYTHING. I'm still learning. Trust me. LOL! Thank you so much! :) I really just fool with all the tutorials and stuff that I download in PSD form till it fits what I'm going for with the particular icon. It's usually screen layers and soft light layers. :)
