approx. 100,000 animals get killed in vegetable harvests every year.

getting stuck in haybailers, plows, harvesting tractors.

and i hope you're taking multivitamins for like b12 and stuff that is mostly in meats. my friend's immune system was shot after being a vegetarian through high school

so basically, casualties.
right?

i am taking many vitamins.
i've been veggie for five years, like i said.
and i used to get super sick throughout winter, but i haven't been sick at all this time. which is weird, and the only difference i've made is my diet.

also, while a lot of vitamins are found mostly in meats, they are found even better in most vegetables.

I have no vegetarian or vegan knowledge to even formulate an informed opinion. Sorry =/

I love cheese and that's why I can never be vegan; I eat a mostly vegetarian diet currently, but man I love cheese

I would say to try your best and get minimal amounts of the vegan friendly companies, and try and support the full vegan friendly companies

oh trust me, i love cheese too.
i ate cheese at LEAST twice a day.
that's the only thing i miss, i have not been able to find a good vegan cheese substitute. they all taste like shit, so far.

that's what i was thinking, i just wanted more imput, you feel?

buy the vegan products even if they're from non-vegan companies. if anything, those companies will notice that their vegan products are selling slightly more? (in the long run i suppose)

deffinetly.
i've found that a lot of eco friendly products don't have very good color payoff, nor do they have lasting quality.
i completely stand by the saying 'put your money where your mouth is', so i want to fully support what i believe in, thus i'm vegan. hahhaa
i think buying name brand makeup is the stupidest shit, honestly.
i know several people who will be like 'GIRL IM WEARING MAC' um...that doesn't make you good at putting on makeup. it just means you spent a bitchload of money. hate to break it to you.
i'll probably start out by working at a company to gain experience. however, i'm almost completely off the mac hype...they're completely ravenous, and a lot of people don't even realize it...but don't even get me started, you'll be bored to death. hahaha

but, just in case you're wondering, mac doesn't test on animals. there's actually loads of cosmetics companies that don't. it's mostly just drug store brand makeup that does now.
