Sutan knows the score. Tommy’s sure of it. Tommy can’t do subtle if you paid him and Sutan’s pretty much the most frighteningly observant person he’s ever met. Must be all that time spent staring into people’s faces. Sutan can read everyone like a book. They toed the line on tour, but there was always that undercurrent, that knowledge that all it would take was one word, one little word and it would be so fucking on. But neither one of them has ever said it. But right now, high on life and booze and glitter, Tommy suddenly can’t figure out why
