I went 'awwww, Sam' there at the end. He definitely deserves a hug himself. I just really loved the interactions between Castiel and Martha and the Doctor (of course he'd be going on about the chips and comparing which were better!) <33

Aw, thanks! Initially this was just an interesting comment_fic prompt, but it turned itself into a 5.18 fixit fic. I'm glad their interactions worked for you - I tried to work it a bit like an episode of Doctor Who like that, where the Doctor and his companion assist the local in need of assistance.

And, as I said before, the Doctor brought some much-needed silliness to this fic. I'm really glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks! I love them too - the show is dark enough on its own, I don't think it needs any more sad endings. :)
