Notes: Written for comment_fic, for the prompt: Supernatural/Greek Mythology, Gabriel &(or/) Eris (Winchesters optional), who do you think got him started as a Trickster? I was going to leave it there, but I was persuaded to post to spn_gabriel and thought it could use a quick once-over.

There was a familiar itch in the back of his head that told Gabriel this was probably bad news. )

This is very nice, and I'm glad you posted it for us!

I love how the boys thought it was Gabriel. Of course they'd think it was him!

Thanks! The way I see it, if someone tells you to post a fic somewhere, you probably should.

As far as I can tell, every time they come across a particularly outrageous and ironic death, they immediately jump to "the Trickster did it". They're always right, but what if they weren't?

Most enjoyable. Though I wish Sam'd gotten Gabriel to tell just a little more.

I'm glad you think so!

Sam might have pressed more, for curiosity's sake (Greek gods in the same context as Judeo-Christian angels? no way Sam wouldn't be interested), but I doubt Gabriel would say much more. He likes to keep an air of mysticism, and with the name reveal he's lost most of it, as far as the Winchesters are concerned.

This. Is. Made. Of. AWESOME! Gabriel, Greek myths and ABBA? Couldn't get any more epic!

Thanks! :D The prompt pulled in the Greek myths for me, but when I decided Eris still holds a grudge against Aphrodite, the connection to the fountain in Mamma Mia was too perfect to not use.

Read it at commentfic, but I re-read it and it's still awesome :D.

Plus, this right here: The guy was so tense, it was ridiculous. No wonder he suited Michael so well.
Made me snort really loud in middle of class. xD

:D! Thanks, I'm glad you think so!

Given how Gabriel sees Sam and Dean, I figure most of the antagonistic behavior towards them is probably an extension of unkind thoughts towards his brothers.

*lol* Gabriel and Eris? Perfect! They'd either bash each others heads in or fall in love ;)

It's justice and mayhem, what's not to like? :D (And I can't quite tell whether they're bashing heads or in love, with the way they act.)
