LOTR actors...

This idea came to me last night while trying to sleep (my ideas seem to come then...). I'd list all the movies I've seen from the actors that were in LOTR...and Mel Gibson too since he's my favorite actor ( Read more... )

tv shows, lord of the rings, movies

I want to do this, too! It sounds like fun, heehee. I'll bold the ones that I've seen out of your list, and add any others if I can think of them, but you probably have them all covered. :)

Mel Gibson: Tim, Braveheart, Pocahontas, Chicken Run, The Patriot, We Were Soldiers, Signs, The Passion of the Christ
Elijah Wood (Frodo): The Adventures of Huck Finn, Flipper, LOTR, North Star, Sin City
Sean Astin (Sam): The Goonies, Encino Man, Rudy (HATE iiiiit!!!), LOTR, Fifty First Dates
Sean Bean (Boromir): LOTR, Troy, National Treasure, Flightplan
Cate Blanchett (Galadriel): Elizabeth, Bandits (I think but I'm not sure), LOTR, The Missing, The Gift
Orlando Bloom (Legolas): LOTR, Black Hawk Down, Ned Kelly, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Troy, Kingdom of Heaven
Billy Boyd (Pippin): LOTR, Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World
Marton Csokas (Celeborn): LOTR, Star Wars Episode II, Kangaroo Jack, Timeline, Kingdom of Heaven, The Great Raid
Ian Holm (Bilbo): Loch Ness (I think but I'm not sure), LOTR, ( ... )

"Flight of the Phoenix" . . . . *shudders* Granted, I only paid $.50 to see it, but still.

If you want to see Ian McKellan's greatest role *shigger*, you should watch the "Scarlet Pimpernel." People either love it or hate it; personally, I find it vastly entertaining. It makes for lots of limp cravat jokes when my roommate and I watch X-Men.

It had some good line ("Give him the hopes and dreams speech. It worked on me."), but you know sometimes a movie just doesn't mesh with you? That was me and FotP. And Rollerball. But I know I've no room to talk - not when my confessed favorite movie of all time is "The Neverending Story." The puppet wolf *still* looks scary.
