I'd never heard of Delain before, but this video popped up on my recommended videos on YouTube..I saw the picture of the woman standing in front of the glacier, and couldn't resist clicking on it, and OH MY GOODNESS I was NOT disappointed! Wait, how have you never heard of Delain before? They're everywhere! I've seen them live five times and not even on purpose haha. I've seen them play with Kamelot, Nightwish, Sonata Arctica, Sabaton and Hammerfall. They're on like, every tour ever. Her voice is kind of nasal and squeaky live as compared to on their albums, but they put on a good show and they're all really nice. Charlotte is so sweet and friendly in person. Their keyboardist is engaged to someone I kinda-sorta know (I know friends of hers, but not really her) who lives here in Arizona. I have two albums of theirs but I don't follow them very closely and haven't heard this song yet. Their album "We Are the Others" is really good and the title track is beautiful (I posted the video for it on FB the other day). It took a while to grow on me but then I loved it... I recommend starting with that album.

Well, it's possible I've heard of them but never paid attention lol. I haven't been to a concert since 2010, so that probably doesn't help either :P

That's so long ago! But I'm sure you have to travel if you want to see any good concerts. If you do get a chance to see Delain, I'm sure you'd love it. They are touring with Amorphis in/around October (I know the local date is October but not sure how long the tour is).
