On Thursday the weather turned on us, so we decided not to go to Valdez..we stayed at Copper Center instead. Still a long drive, but from there it was still over 100 miles to Valdez (you had to cross the Glenn Highway so you could get to the Richardson Highway, where Valdez is). You got fantastic pictures of the volcanoes! Excellent ones of the otters too! It definitely looked like gorgeous weather in Homer <3 The photo of Matanuska Glacier is exceptionally pretty as well with all the fall foliage around it. Those red jellyfish are so odd!

It sounds like you had such a great trip, and that's awesome that you covered so much of Alaska. There is NOTHING like sleeping in your own bed after a long vacation <3 Welcome home!
