Okay. On a scale of 1 to awful, this was about a 9. Not only was Saetan here, trying to explain the Kaeleeran concept of Hell to people (while conveniently being able to check up on Karla while he was at it), but Raven's father Trigon was here as well. After getting Karla's message, Raven went down to Karla's room. "Something is wrong," she said, picking up immediately on her friend's emotions. "What is it?"

Oh thank the Darkness. Raven hadn't listened to radio yet. "Why don't you sit down first," Karla said. "Let me start some tea, too."

Something calming, perhaps. Chamomile or lavender. Or maybe just spiked.

After she killed a few moments puttering around with her tea set, Karla took a deep breath and turned to face Raven.

"Your father is here."

She'd listened to the radio; Ajna clamoring for attention had just conveniently distracted her so she didn't hear that part.

"That is not possible," she said, fear rising within her despite her disbelief. "The gateway is not yet open. He cannot be here!"

"He is, unfortunately," Karla said, biting her lip. "He feels lesser than he did, when we met him the last time, in your mind. But it's definitely him. I...don't think I'll ever mistake his psychic scent. He, umm, reissued his offer to me, as well."

Karla answered her phone with a fervency that went above and beyond her just missing Dinah. "Hell's fire, Mother Night, and may the Darkness be merciful. Dinah, if you loved me, you'd've let me sneak away with you."
