She rubbed her temples for a minute, controlling her breathing, trying to send the anxiety out, breathe calmness in. "Dinah...we're going to ask him if he wants to know first, right? I mean, it should be his choice to decide whether he wants to know what happened or not. Shouldn't it?"

That was about the extent of it though.
"Hi, Leto," Karla said, opening the door for him. Her smile was welcoming, but a bit subdued. "Thanks for coming. Please come in?"
Inside the room, Karla's chair was pulled out, but there was also plenty of space on the bed, too. "Make yourself comfortable, Leto, please."
