How come it's snowing in Manhattan, it's snowing in Ansonia, CT, but it's not snowing here ( Read more... )

I am so sorry. Honestly I think the only reason we got flurries here in Manhattan is because it's a co-worker's birthday and it was her one wish. *don't you wish that was true of all b-day wishes*

I am sorry, but my dark powers are all tied up. And I simply don't have the time to rearrange the weather. If the Universe would simply give in to my demmands, Flurries would be falling down upon your office as we speak, but I think it is being stubborn, and I KNOW I am being stubborn. I refuse to budge until it gives me my miracles. Please accept my apology, O great Paca Rana. The subversion of the natural order will continue as soon as my mission is completed.

In the meantime, allow me to distract you from the cold with warming thoughts of the Gladitorial Arena to be errected in your honor in Fongoolia, and the heat of not only the nation, but the beautiful men risking life and limb to please you.

And we shall import snow, so as to give you an excuse to curl infront of the fire with whatever champion happens to win your affections.

Don't be sorry - you're the best High Priest ever. I just have to learn Patience, since apparently the Universe does not yet know Who I Am. And I'm sure We will be buried in flurries before too long, and it will last far longer than We desire.

Such is the nature of Rising to the Top. Once We are at the top, things are gonna change around here.

For there were flurries in NJ, but I did not get to see them -- I was immersed in physical therapy, where there were no windows.

Also, in case I haven't mentioned it? I HATE THIS STUPID FUCKING WEATHER. A lot. A whole lot. With extra hate.

Awesome! It's actually coming together really well, so I'll probably be posting it by the end of the day. Short and sweet, you know? But I'll keep you in mind, because one of these days my one-and-only beta reader is going to be unavailable and my head will explode.

Oh, House. How I wish you were my doctor, or at least that you would play doctor with me...
