I think the most effective way would be through some type of electronic media (tv, internet, etc). Sadly, people these days spend more time "socializing" in front of the computer than they do with friends/family.
So how do we reach them?...unfortunately it's gotta be MySpace.
I like where you're going with this - it does lead to difficulties though, as the old saying "Arguing on the internet is like running in the special olympics - even if you win, you're still retarded" implies. We could branch out and attempt to destroy memes through things like Myspace, but you'd have to be very careful and intelligent, but also smart and funny, so that we could show logically and factually that memes like racism are worthless, but also keep kid's attention and have appeal. It'd be a lot of work, but the important thing is that it COULD work. I'll think on this some more.
