I like that Nate remembered and used the story from Brad's childhood. :) And Brad's issues with surprises sounded real.

Also, high five for barely getting over 1k. Mine is like 1016, but only because I counted all the titles. ;)

That's actually my childhood story that I used for the story. *g* But it worked, I guess.

Aw! This is so sweet and thoughtful. Such a nice way to start the challenge. Also, I totally, completely dig the idea of Brad and archery! Such a good detail!

Such a sweet moment between the two of them, and indicative of something deeper with the way Nate remembers this fact about Brad, and Brad is willing to trust Nate.

And mad props for finding inspiration in that song. Definitely a challenge, but it totally works.

At the beginning, I really thought, how can I possibly write something for that song?? o.O But then I just used the cover for inspiration, as well, so it worked. :)
