Everyone builds up walls around who they really are. It's to protect themselves from people who might "hurt" them. It doesn't exactly make them liars since they sometimes don't even do it consciously. I've built up a lot of walls over the years because I was afraid people wouldn't like me for who I was. I have accepted myself and don't care as much about what people think but the walls are still there. They are not exactly easy to tear down after so many years.

I swear to god I have seen a white guy somewhere who could only speak japanese well and some broken english. It was amusing to say the least.
