Saturday was AC Storage Locker Day!

I spent the weekend out in Pittsburgh to do inventory of the Anthrocon storage locker. I had originally expected this to take most of Saturday afternoon, it ended up only taking about an hour and a half, thanks to our hard working volunteers: swift_fox, silaria, cadpigjr, firefoxbc, and sinha_lionThis then left us with the rest of Saturday to spend as we like. Good gods - where did these fries come from? That's American excess at its finest!

I do hope to swing by The Strip on Wednesday evening, maybe. I've heard so many good things about Primanti Bros. I'm looking forward to trying the place out.

I was at that place when I was there with boomeroo back in January. I didn't go much for the sandwich--it had a crapload of...something I didn't like (cole slaw?--**continues downing his coffee**)--but those fries were awesome.

The fries are from The Original Hotdog, or the "O" as it is lovingly called. The O is the greasy food joint of Pitt campus in the Oakland section of Pittsburgh.

That large pile of fries is meant to be shared with 3 - 5 people.

Regarding the fire hose picture…
all I could think was that I should respond by saying “your doing it wrong! don’t you know your supposed to have a couple big, burley, sweaty fireman grabbing you from behind to help you with your hose?”
And then I thought “hmm.. Maybe that would sound too gay”
