I know, I know! I'm evil. But, there's a reason for that. See, I wrote a long-ish crossover, Rule 52, with the intent of using that story as a platform for the development of a lot of the relationships within the NCIS/ST universe. Unfortunately, my muses now have other plans, but there are elements that I have to introduce in Rule 52's sequel which can only be done there. And all that is my very long-winded explanation, laying out that yes, I will write Bones getting laid, but I need to write Rule 52's sequel first. At least I know who and how and when and all that other good stuff for Bones. Kirk and Pike will just have to wait. :)

I totally understand having convoluted reasons for why you plot stories the way you do. I do the same thing. In which case, I shall be patient and hope to see this continued. :)

Honestly, I think I've lost the whole 'writing process' thing, especially when my muses staunchly put their feet down and go, "No, you're writing this now/." It's very annoying. I do know that there will definitely be more cop!verse. My flash drive is embarrassingly full of ideas that are in various stages of development. Hopefully that doesn't translate into a year between cop!verse companion fics, as has for Shades of Grey duet. *facepalm*
In any case, thanks for the patience, and for the direction on the icon.
