Author’s Notes: This little chapter was kind of an afterthought, which is why it’s so short and separated from the main bulk that was chapter two. Dammit, you are the fourth person to ask for that fic. I'm making no promises, but the idea is kind of growing on me. With my luck though, it'll wind up being something totally cracky. Glad you liked the ending!

The crossover from heaven. I loved every word of this! Bones and Ziva HAVE to get together, if only so we can watch Jim and Tony quake with fear ;-)

I never at all intended this fic to be a crossover. It just kind of happened that way, much in the same way Ziva and Bones' relationship just kind of fell, fully formed, into my lap while I was writing Rule 52. But, I might have to revisit the idea of those two together, because they're A) Way fun to write and B) Adorable with all their UST and harmless flirtation. Plus, I have to think that Pike and Gibbs would be appreciative of their two problem children taken down a peg or twenty. ;) *adds yet another tribble gremlin to the Mt. St. Plot!Gremlin*

OMG I NEED YOUR ICON. Like, you have no idea. (Secondarily, I'm kind of tempted to drool all over my computer, but I don't think it would appropriate for me to lick the screen of my Macbook. Don't really have the money to buy a new computer because I destroyed it.)

I know, I know! I'm evil. But, there's a reason for that. See, I wrote a long-ish crossover, Rule 52, with the intent of using that story as a platform for the development of a lot of the relationships within the NCIS/ST universe. Unfortunately, my muses now have other plans, but there are elements that I have to introduce in Rule 52's sequel which can only be done there. And all that is my very long-winded explanation, laying out that yes, I will write Bones getting laid, but I need to write Rule 52's sequel first. At least I know who and how and when and all that other good stuff for Bones. Kirk and Pike will just have to wait. :)

Oh, believe me: there is a lot more digging in this happy little Sahara-desert sized sandbox. I have a couple of stories that are nearing the ( ... )

I totally understand having convoluted reasons for why you plot stories the way you do. I do the same thing. In which case, I shall be patient and hope to see this continued. :)

Honestly, I think I've lost the whole 'writing process' thing, especially when my muses staunchly put their feet down and go, "No, you're writing this now/." It's very annoying. I do know that there will definitely be more cop!verse. My flash drive is embarrassingly full of ideas that are in various stages of development. Hopefully that doesn't translate into a year between cop!verse companion fics, as has for Shades of Grey duet. *facepalm*

In any case, thanks for the patience, and for the direction on the icon.

Lovely little slice of life story in the cop!verse. I can just picture Jim and Chris plotting to get Bones and Ziva together. Watch out world...and Bones. Of course, that will just lead the way to some tasty Bones and Ziva revenge. By the way, I would be in so much trouble if Jim was around. My passwords are pretty much the same for everything too.

I think Kirk was most disappointed that he has the skills to hack Bones' email, but didn't get the chance to use them. (Even if he was really tired, lol.) But yeah, I have a couple of ideas for companion fics for this. Because an all out war over Bones' love life? Way too good not to write! We'll have to see what shakes down, but I'm really hopeful it's going to pan out.

At the moment though, I'm working on a cop!verse fic that you actually helped inspire, so there you are. :) Thanks as always for the comment, and I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Eh. Say that when you see the content because it's an angsty story. Funny - I used to be a crack writer who occasionally dabbled in drama. Now, it seems to be the other way around. I guess the bright spot is that, incidentally, I'll be able to use it to introduce Sarek into the 'verse. So, positives, right?
