HOLY CRAP HOLY CRAP HOLY CRAP

I want to be more coherent and give you more, because this fic deserves more, dammit, but I can't get over the holy crap. There's so much about Tony, but there's just as much about Kirk. You're right; this is essentially Tony/Tony, because Kirk totally subsumes himself into his roles, but that's, in a weird way, HIS character. The way he devotes himself, the way he studies Tony and slowly, gradually, becomes Tony. And then there's Tony being, well, Tony. And just: HOLY CRAP.

I am honestly not one for slash pairing two characters played by the same actor. It doesn't really do much for me on any level. But this was AMAZING. Like, really amazing.

the thought of seeing himself on screen made him feel sort of sick and a little sad

AND THEN YOU BROUGHT IT ALL BACK DOWN TO "OW". Awesome awesome ending to an awesome awesome fic.
