I went to bed I think around ten because I was feeling a little tired and a little unwell. I was going to read! I was! Then... it was 9am. Uhm. I guess I... needed some more sleep. I dreamed about chasing cats. O_o;;;I'm feeling a little generally uneasy about life but... *shrugs* what's new

What *is* cyberpunk, btw?

Also, I highly approve of this SanaYuki. Hooray for futurefic! (I get the strong impression there's some unsaid things and issues between them that need to be resolved. Especially on Sanada's part, poor boo)

Cyberpunk is a sort of near-future/dystopian science fiction genre. High tech societies viewed from below... probably the most famous cyberpunk book is Neuromancer (William Gibson), which is mostly about artificial intelligence and has a hacker as the main character. Generally lots of stuff about virtual reality, enhancement/alteration of the human body using technology, etc... quite a lot of influence from cyberpunk books made it into The Matrix, for example, though that's not really typical of the genre overall. ...I stop geeking now. *coughs*

I'm hopping around from story to story like crazy. I have a few thousand words more of Dangerous Games here, too, and another Rikkai AU (because I don't have too many already), and two more bits of Saiyuki fic, a Samurai Champloo fic, and ideas for Bleach stories, and all the bunnies are just kind of bouncing around and getting in each other's way... *tears out hair*

Honestly, I've missed my D1 too, 'cause I enjoy writing them... I wish any of my D1 stories seemed to really be going anywhere. But yeah, thanks! ♥

As I'm not familiar with the other series, both PoT stories seem interesting. (The Sanayuki, the Sanayuk!!)

You know, I've concluded that I'm just a total sucker for PoT cyberpunk. Especially with D1; it just /fits/ them.

Yeah, I think it fits incredibly well. For Rikkai in general, but D1 get on very very well with it. I think they enjoy themselves too much, to be honest... *g*

Sanada/Yukimura is something I find so hard to write. But I really should persevere and try to produce something.
