Helen had begun working on dinner for the people in her Sanctuary. While the patients were already fed, the small group that still remained her family had to eat.
Owen's not entirely sure whether he counts as patient or family, plus he doesn't need to eat - but he still enjoys being in the light, spacious kitchen. Light being the operative word.
"All right, doctor? I haven't seen you for a while." He's standing in the doorway, a little surprised.
And 'patient', he tells himself quickly - just to avoid disappointment when she tells him so.
She gave a chuckle. "Yes, I have been trained in proper cooking. I just rarely have the chance to." Helen looked at him with a playful version of the infamous mother stare.
"As seeing how things have settled some what across the network, I thought I'd cook us all something. You're welcome to have some, if you'd like. If you are capable of still eating." She honestly wasn't sure what exactly all of his systems still worked with a technically dead body.

She grabbed another piece of chicken and placed it under the cold water, rinsing it off.

"You're cooking?" He's still unsure of Magnus, especially after her long absences, so it may come across sounding a little defensive.
